A design used in 1996 to win the “Best Hunter” award at the Las Vegas Classic Knife Show. A smaller knife, but very ergonomic. I used El Max steel and hardened it between 59-61RC.
The overall length is 6 ½ inches with a 2 9/16 inch cutting edge. The bolsters are 416 stainless steel and engraved by me from my own Celtic design. There is no engraving on the dorsal or ventral sides of the spine.
The handles are blue-laced carbon fiber, impervious to blood and water.
The leather sheath is hand stitched and custom made for the knife by me and has been formed to hold the knife securely in place when not being used.
There is a lot of chatoyant reflection between the weaves of the fiber that cannot be captured by camera.
